We have booked our cruise rooms and our hotel in New Orleans!

Norwegian Jewell leaving New Orleans on 1/5/2014.
Kaz and I are in Suite #11124
My Mom and David are in Room #8076
Renee and the Kids are in Room #8080

I will post as we book excursions or make plans related to the cruise.

New Orleans Info:

We are staying at the Bon Maison Guest House in the French Quarter from December 31st till the cruise leaves on January 5th.  There are 2 rooms left at the hotel (it only has 5 rooms and we have booked 3).  Hotel website:  http://www.bonmaison.com/

The Ceremony:

This will be in either Pirates Alley or the gates to Jackson Square at around 10 on the morning of January 5th.  We will then go and have Brunch at Cafe Amelie ( http://www.cafeamelie.com/ ).  Then whomever is going on the cruise will be heading to the port.

Change of Plans!

Okay so we checked out the plane tickets to Hawaii and they were $800 a person.  OMG way way way to expensive to just get over there.  Kaz and I started looking at our options and came up with a trip to New Orleans and then a cruise that embarks from there and stops at Costa Maya, Cozumel, Belize, and Roatan.  We are going in to New Orleans on December 31st to enjoy New Years Eve in style!  The cruise leaves on January 5th and is through Norwegian Cruise Line.  We will be doing a small vow renewal (we are still hammering out if this is going to be in New Orleans the morning of January 5th or on the cruise).  Everyone is invited of course to either part of the trip.  We will be booking the cruise and hotel in the next 2 weeks and I will post all of the details then!

New Years Eve & New Years Day Hotel & Plane Updates

Okay so New Years Eve Kaz and I will be taking everyone to dinner at Huggos in Kona.  Dinner won't be till about 9 so that we can hang out there for there New Years Eve entertainment and Fireworks, kids are welcome as well!

New Years Day we will be heading over to Kuki'o Beach for the ceremony (probably around 1) and then the "reception" will be the Island Breeze Luau.

Hotel -  I am still trying to work out a group rate but I am currently looking at either the Sheraton or Marriott, both are on the water and in downtown Kona so there is plenty of places to walk to and they are central to most activities around the island.

Plane tickets should go on sale in December / January.  For best prices I would say book quick because we are going at a prime time.  We will be going over on Friday December 27th and coming back on Friday January 3rd.  (If there is a big price difference these dates may change by a day or two one way or the other.

10 Years....

We are celebrating our 10 year anniversary / vow renewal in Hawaii and everyone is invited!  Right now tentative dates are December 27, 2013 through January 8, 2014.  More information to follow.....
